Hi there,

I’m Iryna, a photographer based in New England. I’m originally from the small city of Ternopil in Western Ukraine. I graduated from West Ukrainian National University, Dutch Faculty of Economics and Management, with a Master’s degree in Business Management and Economics.

I am married to my best friend, the most amazing and kind person I know. My family is a very important part of my life, and they are always there for me. I am a very happy person and truly appreciate everything I have in life, especially the little things. I am humbled by life’s simple joys.

I started my photography business in 2011 and it was the best thing I ever did.

I grew up around photography and arts. My father took all our family photos with a 35 mm film camera, most of them were black & white. He developed and printed all our photos and I spent a lot of time helping him.

I love photos that are classic, elegant, creative and fun. I enjoy film photography, which is timeless. I am a very creative person, I think I got it from my grandmother. I have gone to New England School of Photography to learn Black & White Film and Dark Room Printing

Fun fact: I spent a year photographing front covers for a local magazine in Wellesley, MA (Best Version Media). It was an incredible experience that allowed me to meet fascinating people, capture their photos, and learn their unique stories.

In addition to photography, I have many passions!

I have a good-sized garden where I grow lots of vegetables in the summer.

Every year, I make Concord grape jam. We have Concord grapes that have taken over an apple tree, so it looks like a grape tree. I climb it, harvest the grapes, and make jam.

I am obsessed with peonies and hydrangeas. I grow peonies, and one day I hope to grow hydrangeas too.

I love cooking and collect many old and new cookbooks and recipes. I enjoy browsing cookbooks for inspiration.

I love early mornings, walking in nature, and watching sunrises and sunsets.

I am a big fan of vintage and antiques, and I have an eBay storefront where I sell vintage and antique pieces.

I am a big fan of Norman Rockwell’s art.

I have a huge library, and books are a big part of my life. I could list all that I’ve read, but some of my top books are anything by Dr. Wayne Dyer, The Teachings of Abraham by Esther and Jerry Hicks, Louise Hay, Little Women by Louisa May Alcott, and The Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger.

My favorite ice cream is black raspberry.

My favorite countries that I’ve visited are Portugal and Italy.

My most impressive dishes are tacos, stuffed peppers, carrot cake, honey cake, and I make the best flambeed bananas foster dessert.
