I’m Iryna, a photographer based in New England. I’m originally from small city Ternopil in Western Ukraine.
Photography has always been part of my life. My father photographed our family on 35 mm film, mostly in black and white. He developed and printed everything himself, and I grew up helping in the darkroom. Later, I studied Black and White Film and Darkroom Printing at the New England School of Photography.
Outside of photography, I grow peonies and vegetables in my garden, make Concord grape jam every year, collect vintage cookbooks and film cameras, and love early mornings and sunsets. I am especially drawn to vintage art and am a longtime admirer of Norman Rockwell.
